Helium Cadmium Lasers

Omnichrome Helium-Cadmium Laser  model 2056-15/35 with model 100 power supply. Dual wavelength, produces both the violet 442nm and the 325nm line in UV. Multimode output, rated 35mW and 15mW respectively. Omnichrome Inc. was bought-out by Melles Griot in 1997.  These lasers were remanufactured by Melles Griot, including new tubes, in 1999.  This small frame He-Cd laser is from the Omnichrome 56 series.  It offers some of the same features as found in the 3056 and 4056 multimode lasers. This laser is very similar to the Melles Griot model 45 MRS 803 which currently costs over $11,000.
